I love this painting. It's evocative and full of light and I love the old school common room charm of it. I bought it a couple of weeks ago from Mercer's Daughter on Etsy, and when the package arrived every single aspect of it was so delightful that I took pictures as I unwrapped it, for bragging purposes. (She even sent me a little packet of beads and jewelry to upcycle.)
Here's my small treasure, nesting happily on my bookshelves (next to a tiny bowl by CircaCeramics, filled with tiny tubes of perfume oil...). Small things are the nicest.
