Last week I went downstairs to do my laundry, and was greeted by one of the more baffling sights I've ever encountered. My building manager, for cloaked and secret reasons of his own, has installed a toilet in our laundry room. Not a full and separate bathroom. Not a sink, which by the way we don't have, and which would be handy. A toilet. And lest you think he's just storing it there, I've included pictures. It's hooked up and fully functioning. But wait, there's more! Not only is there a toilet, but you can't actually get to it (I know you're disappointed), because there's a fence of copper and pvc pipe dividing it from the rest of the laundry room. Curiouser and curiouser. So now you know. It's there if you need it.

oh my .... LOL
This made me laugh! :-)
Do you live in a house? I don't know how small the laundry room is, but maybe Mr. wierdo building manager might be installing the beginnings of a new apartment within the building? I've lived in 2 places that had crappers in the middle of basement spaces... although always in houses built in the mid-1900's. That's definitely wierd though!
